As a social media manager at Multiply Marketing Consultancy, I created a social media strategy that aligned with the Al Ajban Chicken's business objectives, produced and managed content. I also managed a team of two community managers.
Natural, free-range chicken is a healthier option for consumers who are conscious about their health and the quality of their food; Al Ajban Chicken has it all. The social media strategy reinforced the message that the chicken is locally grown, halal and the only natural, free-range producer in the UAE.
The campaign was mainly on Instagram and promoted to specific target locations through paid media.
We wanted to showcase our product in the most visually appealing and appetising way possible. Using cooked chicken instead of raw chicken helped achieve that goal.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, many customers found it difficult to buy their favourite Al Ajban Chicken from physical stores due to restrictions and safety concerns. It couldn't have been the perfect time to promote home delivery, as the lockdown led to a surge in online shopping.
Our strategy was to promote home delivery through targeted ads across Dubai and Abu Dhabi so customers don't go a day without their chicken.
We introduced interactive and engaging games to capture the attention of Instagram users and keep them engaged with the brand's content. These games created a sense of community and competition among followers, which drove engagement and increased brand awareness.
Interactive games on Instagram increased engagement during lockdown when our audience was seeking indoor activities.
